Dr. Susanne Cahill joins the Tomkins Patent Team

With an interest in science from a young age, Susanne studied Natural Sciences at Trinity College Dublin, where she majored in Microbiology and was conferred with a BA (Mod). She then went on to complete a PhD in Molecular Biology under the supervision of the Department of Histopathology and Morbid Anatomy, working in the field of thyroid cancer research. During her PhD studies, Susanne was awarded the EC Smith Scholarship in pathology and also worked as a teaching assistant in the School of Medicine.
Before joining Tomkins in September 2007, she worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in a nutritional genomics laboratory in Dublin City University.
